Dr. Malcolm Leon Johnson

I am so saddened to hear about the loss of Dr. Johnson. Dr. Johnson helped me so much during my grief process as I went to him on several occassions to receive treatment. Every time that I went in to see Dr. Johnson, I was always reassured and treated well. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations as he was so easy to talk to (always giving wisdom). My prayers are with the family and loved ones. May God grant you peace and care.

It's still not real from the human me.. But spirit lives forever. You are still truly missed. EM☮️💜

Bro Malcolm, OMG! It so pained me to learn that you'd made your transition. I'm still somewhat in shock. My dear brother, I'm only comforted by memories of our many talks while breaking bread together, after church, or whenever we happened to meet; and the relief I received from your acupuncture treatment. I especially recall our conversations about Cuba, how much you loved it, and how badly I wanted to go. When I finally went in 2017, you were the first person I talked to about my trip. You are sorely missed my friend. Rest in heavenly Peace🙏🏾

It just broke my heart to find out this news He is one of God's SPECIAL ANGELS,A lady at Hilllside J.J. told me But I thought she must have had the wrong person. I was just in denial until I finally read this obituary. I thank him, and I surely will miss him. We had great talks, what a wonderful man. I will never forget him!

Dear Malcomb, I was suddenly thinking of you today, about that time we drove to buckhead to the all-natural cafe for what you promised me was 'sugar free' granola (which was not sugar free lol) and i remembered how we laughed, You always had insightful things to teach me, funny things to say, the most positive person I knew at the time (when working at Kimberly Clark...) and I always thought it was so awesome you studied acupuncture and opened your own practice. But I was really bummed that you left Kimberly Clark, because I missed you every day after you left... It wasn't the same anymore with you gone. You were such a shining star... From knowing you I have studied natural medicine for decades, and reading all the letters here from souls that you helped fills me with tears of joy, you are a shining star my brother. peace. Finally I just hit clarification of his passing here in searching..my sympathies to his family n friends n patients..I was a patient..saw him fir 3years... xcellent at wat he did..we had talks while in procedure..a happy guy...he will be missed...💞

My first visit with Dr. Malcolm was October 22, 2020. I was encouraged to see him through a close friend. The experience was exuberayting, I left his office floating on cloud 9. His sense of humor and his genuine caring spirit was quite evident. Although I only visited him on 7 occasions prior to his passing, my life was profoundly and positively impacted! Dr. Malcolm was my doctor for almost 20 years and he helped bring me back from the brink three separate times. I also considered him as a very caring friend and I too regret not taking the trip to Cuba. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing, and send my deepest condolences to his daughter, son and grandchildren who he always spoke about so lovingly. May the family, friends, and colleagues find solace in knowing that Malcolm has won his race. We will cherish the time we shared with Malcolm; it was a joyful experience from the time we entered his office, sitting on the couch catching him up on what was going on with us, getting the treatment and leaving. His practice and treatment was a gift. We are blessed to have known him, and we will not forget the time we shared. We will practice not missing him and know that he is perfected.

We will get our nine hours of sleep, drink our water, and will go to bed four hours after we eat. Oh, and we promise to check our pH often!

I met Malcolm in the early 1980's when he was at Johnson and Johnson and I was at Procter & Gamble. At our first meeting he immediately started to discuss how Black folk had to figure out a way to make greater progress in corporate America. It turned out that 10 years later we both ended up a Kimberly-Clark and Malcolm's passion for improving the status Black folk in a company was still there! Malcolm emerged as a leader in the recruitment, retention and promotion of Black Men and Women at Kimberly-Clark. He willing challenged all levels of management in pointing out the lack of progression of Black employees vs. their White counterparts. Malcolm was physically a big guy, with a big heart,and a Passion for Life and I cherish the fact that he was my friend. We offer our sincere condolences to the family and pray that God blesses you with peace and comfort as you celebrate the life of Malcolm
