Victor, you've been gone a few years now and still, I wonder if there was anything I could have done to allow you to be dear today. You were a true friend, I love you and I miss you.

The last time I saw you was at the play in Cordele. I gave you my number and asked you if you wanted to write it down and you said I teach Math I won't forget it. I met you and Adrian(I think) at GSW. We became friends and stayed in touch. I remember you coming to visit me, telling me that you were teaching. I was so proud. I am at a loss of word seeing your passing, but you will never be forgotten.

I remember the times that Vic and I spent together at DCHS as classmates. He was a friend to all and had such a warm personality. His smile was so genuine. I had the opportunity to get to know Victor more this summer as a graduate student at CSU serving as his doctoral chair.
