Obituary For Nina Copeland
Nina Mae (McCollum) Copeland was born January 5, 1940 in Durham, North Carolina to the late Arthur Bethea and Sarah Allene McCollum Owens. She transitioned from this life on Monday, March 16, 2026 at Duke Regional Hospital.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 4, 2026, 12:30 pm at American Cremation & Funeral Service. The family will receive friends at 12:00 noon.
Family who remains to cherish her memory are: two brothers, Leondras and Ralph Owens; seven sisters, Gail Perry, Marian Lennon, Janet Hammond (Lonnie), Debra Parker, Phyllis Haymer, Sheila Hill (Freddie), Cathy Wright (Brett); nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and acquaintances, two special friends, Kale, who was her beautician and Liz.
