Ms. Dorothy Carmen Maynard, age 55, of 131 Loblolly Drive in Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her mother, Mary Lyons Maynard; one sister, Phyllis Maynard; two brothers, Winston Maynard and Claude Maynard; a niece, Stephanie Tabourn; a nephew, Douglas Maynard; a great niece, Balie Hawkins; and a great nephew, Maximus Tabourn; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A beautiful Angel here on Earth gone. Dorothy was a sweet person and dear to many. She will be forever missed. She took care my mother when she was sick. I will be forever thankful for knowing such a beautiful person. My prayers go out to her family.
