Obituary For Leroy Benson Jeter

Leroy B. Jeter Jr., affectionately known as “2-2 Love,” was born on September 20, 1969, in Bunnell, Florida, to the late Dorothy Mae Washington-Fairell and the late Leroy B. Jeter Sr.

He attended Flagler Palm Coast High School and went on to become a devoted and hardworking employee with several companies, including Sunbelt, Boston Whaler, Kehe, and others throughout his career.

In his free time, “2-2 Love” enjoyed playing dominos, softball, and spending time with family and friends. Above all, he loved football — and if you knew him, you knew he was a true Baltimore Ravens fan through and through!

On November 5, 2025, “2-2” departed this earthly life and entered the sunset of life. His journey was a true example of love, laughter, and loyalty, and his memory will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Leroy “2-2” was preceded in eternal rest by his parents, Dorothy Mae Washington-Fairell and Leroy B. Jeter Sr.; Albert Johnson (Shortie); his sisters, Thewanna D. Jeter (Peaches) and Debra D. Jeter (Tinchie); and his brother, Victor Love Sr.

“2-2” leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, Quannesia Patterson; god-daughters, Iyawna McCall and Jaya Butler; brothers, Edward Johnson (Abe), Archie (Peanut) Stokes, and a host of brothers; sister, Sharon Hizine; and a host of sisters, nieces, Felicia Smith, Taquoya Jeter, T’niah Spearmon, T’nijah Spearmon, Angel Jeter, Victoria Love, Tara Smith, and Kara Smith; and a host of great-nieces, nephew, Victor Love Jr., and one great-nephew.

Special friends and cousins include Darial Williams, Bryant Williams, Jermodris Dunlap, Javon Dunlap, Keon Hall, Jason Neal, Darrin Belle, Mark Jones, Rodney Roberson (Denise), Lenard Cooper (Grit), Tyrone Crowley, David Myers, Archie Stokes, and a host of grandchildren, cousins, and other relatives and friends who deeply loved him.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD 2:00 P.M., SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2025, AT ST. PAUL MB CHURCH IN ESPANOLA

INTERMENT WILL BE HELD IN MASONIC CEMETERY
