He lived an amazing life and raised a beautiful family. He will surely be missed. Sadly, I wasn't fortunate enough to have had the pleasure of meeting him. But what little I learned and heard about him, I will always remember and cherish.

Dear family, I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Uncle Lee. He was such a remarkable person, full of kindness, warmth, and love for life that shone through his passions for golfing, fishing, traveling, and his dedication to family and friends. I'll never forget the beautiful bond Uncle Lee shared with my dad, how they would be in the living room playing gospel music with that old RXL tape deck that my dad refuses to throw away, but loves playing all those tapes and permanently swamped stores that meant so much to them both. Uncle Lee's memory will forever live in my heart, not only for his caring spirit when you both helped me with my mom, reassuring me that God has the final say, but also for guiding me on what to do in difficult times that help us all so deeply. So please know that are thoughts and prayers are with all of you. If there's anything, we could just let us know we are hear. With love, your family in California. The Simon & Slater
