Funeral Services for Mr. Ralph James Latimore, Sr., of Edgewood, will be held Monday, October 7, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at Antioch East Baptist Church, 2352 Old Rex Morrow Rd. Ellenwood, 30294, with remains placed instate at 9:30 A.M. Reverend Michael Smith, Pastor, Officiating. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 6, 2019, 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the mortuary. He leaves to cherish, wife, Vashti Reid Latimore; son, Raphael Joel Latimore (Rose); daughter, Karen Banks Smith (Alton); goddaughter, Cynthia Randall Sloan; 5 grandchildren, Courtney, Gabrielle, Raphael, Jr., Ryan, Rory; 1 great granddaughter, Kaelyn; 2 sisters, Katherine L. Hairston, Marion L. O'Neal; aunt (100 yrs old), Sophie L. Carey; and a host of nieces, nephews, loving godchildren, relatives, church members, and friends. He is also survived by, family and friends of his beloved, Lions of Metro Atlanta, The Quality Living Services, Atlanta Hilton Hotel, David T. Howard, class of 1948, Emory Wesley Woods-Budd Terrace, Melvin and Martha Davis. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence at 9:45 A.M.
