Mr. Alvin Lynn Anderson, 67, of Stanley, North Carolina transitioned on Monday, October 26, 2025 at his residence.
He was born in Choctaw, Alabama on May 7, 1958 to the late Willie Anderson and Pearlie Portis Anderson.
Alvin was a member of Tucker’s Grove Church. He was a truck driver for FedEx.
Funeral Service is Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Tucker’s Grove Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Yantley, Alabama on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.
There will be a public walk through on Friday from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

I'll always remember Alvin he remembered my children's names and my grandchildren's names and he would call me and we would laugh about it and joke about the grandkids. every time I would see him at the terminal or on the yard it would just be a big old smile. Alvin was a good man. I'm sure he'll be missed.. praying for you guys again I know you'll miss him
I worked with Alvin at fedex for more than 25 years. He always remember my dogs and cats name.sounds silly but I loved him for that. I am so sad to hear of his passing..
