Austin Shy’Juan Washington,18, of Lincolnton, North Carolina, departed this life on Saturday, June 13, 2026 in Morganton, North Carolina.
He was born in Gaston County, North Carolina on November 26, 2007, to Andrea Washington and the late Octavious Thomas.
Austin was a 2026 graduate of Lincolnton High School, where he was a proud member of the school’s marching band. He will be remembered by many for his bright spirit and the impact he made during his young life. Austin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in White’s Family Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
A public viewing will be held Friday, June 26, 2026 at the funeral home from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m.

I'm going to miss Austin man I'd tell you what we had fun together since we were little we did band together we hung out together shit I remember we wanted to start a band one day he always was there to comfort me when I wanted to take my life in really going to miss him
