Obituary For Bobby Hunt
Mr. Bobby Eugene Hunt, Jr. age 61 of Claremont, North Carolina transitioned on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Catawba County, North Carolina on December 14, 1958 to the late Bobby Eugene Hunt Sr. and Willie Beatty Hunt
Funeral Service will be held Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in White’s Family Chapel with burial to follow at the Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday and other times at the home of his brother at 1985 Bost Street, Lincolnton, North Carolina.
The body may be viewed at Ebony & White’s Funeral Service on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 everyone is asked to wear masks.

Bobby was an umpire/ref while I was coaching my son in Baseball/basketball and he was always great with the kids and us adults who got a little to much in to the games Great guy and I hated to see that he had passed. Praying for you all. Lee

Enjoyed many years of friendship with Bobby at GS Fibers. Regrettably, we lost contact after I changed jobs. The memories remain. Sincere sympathy to the family. May God comfort you with His peace.

Bobby was a friend to the children and families of the Balls Creek Optimist Club and community. He was a great mentor to me and many of those children. I have lost a friend and a colleague.

I have fond memories of Bobby from South Newton Elementary School. He was a great classmate and I am sure he will be missed by many people.
