Christine C. “Punkin” Bryant Abernethy age 54 of Dallas, North Carolina transitioned on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, NC.
She was born in Lincoln County, North Carolina on January 17, 1968 to Christine Banks Bess and the late Purvis Bryant.
Christine graduated from Lincolnton High School, class of 1986. She attended Mission Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was an Assistant Manager at IHOP.
Funeral Service is Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in White’s Family Chapel with burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Vale, North Carolina. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
There will be a public walk through held Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Punkin was once a neighbor but was forever wonderful friend. She had a great spirt and heart of gold. She was truly a blessing to my entire family. Punkin will truly be missed, and she will be forever in our hearts. Rest In Peace my friend ❤️ My thoughts and prayers are with your family 🙏🏽
