Dear Odom family,

Also on behalf of the Schievels family (from the Netherlands) I would like to express my condolences on the loss of Corine. We got to know her as a sweet, strong, positive and above all humorous woman. Despite the fact there is an ocean between our homes, we never felt any distance. We kept in touch by telephone and by post and in this way we were always up to date about the ups and downs and developments in each other's lives. She has always been a very warm and considerate grandmother to Mitchell. With her positive attitude to life and her unwavering faith in God, she made a deep impression on all of us. We are so grateful that she was a part of our lives and we will remember her fondly.

We wish Carl, Sheila, Vanessa and the rest of the family a lot of strength to cope with this loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and although we cannot be with you during her farewell ceremony, we will all light a candle on July 22 at 2 p.m. in her remembrance and to your support.
