Mrs. Doris V. Wilkins Tinsley, 80, of Iron Station, North Carolina transitioned on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House, Huntersville, North Carolina.
She was born in Spartanburg County, South Carolina on May 19, 1945 to the late C.B. Wilkins and Hazel Hamilton Wilkins.
Doris was a member of Links Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. She graduated from Newbold High School and retired from Technibilt.
Funeral Service will be Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Moore’s Chapel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Link’s Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church cemetery.
A public walkthrough will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the funeral home from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. The family may or may not be present during this time.
