Ms. Dorothy Lee Gaither, 77, of Newton, North Carolina transitioned on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory, North Carolina. She was born on November 21, 1946 to Richard Finger and Bessie Gaither McCorkle.
She graduated from Ridgeview High School, class f 1966. She retired from E.R. Carpenter. She was a member of Morning Star First Baptist Church.
Funeral service is Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Morning Star First Baptist Church with burial to follow at Southside Cemetery of Hickory, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
