Obituary For Dorothy McCombs
Dorothy Marcella Torrence McCombs age 79, of Newton, North Carolina transitioned at her residence on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.
She was born in Catawba County, North Carolina to the late Robert Lee Torrence, Jr. and Annie Kennedy Torrence.
Dorothy graduated from Catawba Rosenwald High School and retired from Bassette Furniture. She was a faithful member of Mt. Olin A.M.E. Zion Church.
Funeral service is Monday, May 9, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Friendship United Methodist Church, located at 2900 NC-16, Newton, North Carolina with burial to follow in Mt. Olin A.M.E. Zion Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
