My heartfelt condolences and prayers for the family and friends of Ms. Florence!! The many years I've known Ms. Florence from the West Lincoln area, all the way here in Lincolnton,. I really gotten to know her, when she moved on Pine St. Finding out who she was, and her children and we all went to school together. Of course her children were older than me. After Ms. Florence and I would carry conversations about, N. Brook #1, Mitchell and W. Lincoln, we would laugh about the good ol" times many of us shared. She recalled how her children and all of us would get together and played softball at N. Brooke #1 school!! I recalled those days, but it was the older kids who played!! There was quite a few memories Ms. Florence shared. Some I didn't remember. As she said to me, I was probably too young. Ms. Florence moved in the public Housing apartment on Pine St. I would go and visit Ms. Amanda Bynum (Ms. Florence 's) neighbor from time to time. When those two was together, they had me rolling laughing!! Ms. Florence was filled with so much energy !! I recall when Ms Florence worked at Lincolnton Nursing Home I believe. From the time she got home, she was always busy doing something, before she moved in Public Housing. She was a sweet person. She would have her snuff in, and Mr Hoover (another neighbor) would be talking trash to Ms. Florence about the snuff!! They would go at it!! It would be so funny!! She was such a a spontaneous woman!! A good neighbor. A good friend. I'm sure she was a great mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She definitely will be missed!! Fly High Ms Florence!!! Rest In Paradise!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️
Flo, I wish you could know all the joy you brought into our lives. I am going to miss your feistiness, smile, laughter and hugs. You always told it like it was. I know Heaven is rejoicing, as they gained a beautiful Angel. Keep smiling and know you will be greatly missed. Until we meet again... -Dallas-
