Obituary For Floyd Gibbs
Mr. Floyd Gibbs, Jr. age 63, of Newton, North Carolina transitioned on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at his residence.He was born in Iredell County, North Carolina on October 30, 1960 to the late Floyd Gibbs and Martha McIntosh Gibbs.
He graduated from Maiden High School and attended Livingstone College. He retired as a machine operator from International Paper.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in White’s Family Chapel with burial to follow in Maiden Chapel Baptist church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. There will be a public viewing/walk through on Wednesday at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 6:00 p.m.
