Fred & Teresa took me in as a foster child. As difficult as I was, Fred was always soft spoken, gentle, & kind. I remember him as a wonderful husband, father, officer, & person. He was the first to have the patience to teach me how to drive their Chevy Nova. I always remember his words while driving, and have NEVER had an accident bc of said words. Teresa, David, Dina, & grandchildren, I am so sorry for your loss. May Fred rest in everlasting peace.
Always remember him first in the police car sometimes sitting in the school parking lot, always chatted to him in King Kullen in Eastport, always tried when I was plowing the snow by his house for the town I would try to plow his little side area along the road cause I knew that was his house, was always a very nice guy to me..... very sorry to hear of his passing and may he Rest In Peace , Craig D Hopping Sr Eastport NY
Uncle Freddy, an intelligent and sweet person, who loved his family greatly. He demonstrated kindness, patience, and love in all that he did. As my uncle, he was one of the brave few to give me a driving lesson when I first got my permit, I still hear his words and advice as I drive, keeping me safe. -Angela
