Mrs. Hazel โBig Mamaโ Lavan Bush Brandon, 102, of Cherryville, North Carolina transitioned peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025 at The Greens At Lincolnton.
She was born in Bishopville, South Carolina on January 31, 1923 to the late Henry Young and Adeline Lavan.
She was a faithful steward of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Cherryville, North Carolina. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 P.M. for the public to view.
There will be a viewing for the public on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the funeral home from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
