Mr. Kenneth Barrain “Benard Jefferies” Thompson, 53, of Lincolnton, North Carolina transitioned on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Atrium Health – Lincolnton
He was born in Cleveland County, North Carolina on June 8, 1972 to Kenneth Jefferies and the late Ruth Daniels.
He was a member of Walls Memorial Baptist Church. He graduated from Shelby High School, class of 1990.
Funeral Service will be Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Zion Hill Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

We werent friends we were and are family always we will miss you and will be in our hearts and minds. Our condolences to the family. When we moved to Gastonia NC in 2011 and my son was a baby and started to go to the daycare where you guys worked since the first day in the daycare you guys had a connection and you and Jessie said that he is going to be your boy and your son and since then he is and always will be your son to the both of you
