From the very first day I met you, Momma, you embraced me not as your son's wife, but as your daughter. There was never a question of belonging. You welcomed me with warmth, love, and wisdom — and over the years, that bond only deepened. You showed me what true grace looks like: in how you carried yourself, in how you lifted others, and in how you loved your family.
You were more than a matriarch; you were the heart of this family — the steady, gentle voice of reason, the one whose prayers covered us, and the one whose strength held us together. You were a teacher without a classroom, a counselor without credentials, and a mother to so many beyond your own children.
I learned from you how to stand strong in faith, how to care deeply, and how to lead with compassion. Your example will live on in our lives — in every family gathering, every home-cooked meal, every prayer said in your name.
Though we feel the weight of this loss, I find peace knowing that your love will never leave us. It lives on in the stories we'll tell, in the traditions we'll carry, and in the love we'll continue to share.
Thank you, Momma, for loving me like your own. I will always carry your memory in my heart, and I will always be proud to call you my mother-in-law.
Rest peacefully. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
Love Charlotte Simpson
Mama this one really hurt, I'm going through it and taking it rough. I knew this day would come but I was gonna be ready to say goodbye but I put my trust in the lord like you've always taught me and have faith that he'll keep me strong. You were always there for me no matter what and I'm forever grateful for that. It was an honor being your grandson and you'll always be remembered until we meet again. I love you so much.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" -Psalm 34:18. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family. May God bless you!
