Joyful Memory was sent for Mary Jo Burris - July 15, 2024
Mother Burris has always been a cheerful and beautiful example of God's love. I was able to see her last year when I came up for Aunt Bernice's funeral. As always, she was smiling, and I gave her a big hug. I know this time may be difficult, but please find refuge in knowing she is at peace and continue to lean on God's word - Psalms 147:3. Sending prayers and condolences to the Burris family.

My Condolences to the family. My heart was shattered when I found out that God had called you home. You were such a great Woman and I know God Gained a angle love your Sister in law Patricia Nixon till we meet again rest in peace.
Even though we aren't blood, she has been my aunt Penny since 1997. She always loved and accepted me as family and for that I am forever grateful. There are so many memories of church, cookouts&family gatherings at her house when my kids were growing up. I know shes in a better place but she will definitely be missed ♥️
My condolences go out to the family and friends. I've known her her as Deaconess Burris. We first met at the former Lovely Holy Temple Church under the pastoral ship of the late Pastor Barbara Ann Russell. Deaconess Burris and I became prayer partners, and we called each other every morning at 5 AM. We prayed and said a few encouraging words to each other, and hung up. She had such a lovely Holy Spirit about her. You couldn't help but to love her. After the splitting of Lovely Holy Temple Church, it was awhile before we seen each other. Yet, she was the same godly woman. Spoke with her about a month ago I believe. We spoke about having lunch together. I was looking forward to it. Deaconess Burris, we didn't get to have lunch after all. But, someday, when we meet again, we can celebrate together after all. God needed you for His purpose. Our hearts hurts and are broken 😭😭💔💔, thank you for the years I've known you. No one could asked for a better friend. I love you and miss you already. When I go to Walmart, I'll be looking for you. 🥰🥰. You might not be there, but your sweet spirit well. Rest in Paradise my friend, my sister in the Lord.
