Mr. Robert Louis Killian, 82, of Hickory, North Carolina was born in Catawba County, North Carolina on July 25, 1942 late John David Thompson, Sr. and Eileen Killian Thompson.
He transitioned on Thursday, January 15, 2025 at Mooresville Rehabilitation Center in Mooresville, North Carolina. He graduated from Ridgeview high School and attended Livingstone College.
He was a member of Clinton Tabernacle A.M.E. Zion Church and a United States Army Veteran. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad.
Funeral service is Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Clinton Tabernacle A.M.E. Zion Church with burial to follow in Southside Cemetery in Hickory, North Carolina. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
There will be a public viewing on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 P.m. at the funeral home.
