Shirley Temple Rozzelle Berfet was born April 20, 1935, in Lincolnton, NC to David Rozzelle (deceased) and Ella Mae Farley (deceased). She was called home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2023. Shirley was married to the late Lawrence Berfet. Shirley enjoyed traveling, word puzzles and attending cabarets. Shirley loved traveling to North Carolina to visit family and friends. She enjoyed shopping and going out to eat dinner.
Shirley leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Lawrence Berfet and Felix Berfet. One daughter Sheryl Berfet Williams (Reginald). A brother, Frank Farley. Grandchildren Omari Berfet,Lamarence Best, Shontelle Brown, Ibn Latif, Sharnae Williams, Shakyah Williams and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Homegoing Celebration will be held on August 17, 2023 at Delaware Valley Baptist Church: 493 Beverly Rancocas Road, Willingboro, New Jersey. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the service is to follow at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live streamed on the church youtube page: https://youtube.com/@delvalchurchrightwhereyouare
There will be a public viewing on Monday, August 21, 2023 from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Ebony & White’s Funeral Service with burial to follow in Hollybrook Cemetery.
