Hello family, your dad and grandpa was a special and unique person. His smile and words of wisdom will never be Forgotten
Rest in peace brother in-law 🙏 Earline Smith and family.
Thankful to have know this kind soul most of my entire life. He will be missed by so many. I am thankful he was able to see the lights on again at the old cotton gin but I am sad that he won't be around to pop in for a visit or to see our home come to completion or eat a meal at our table as I had promised him. When I last saw him at the cotton gin he was telling us about the walnut tree out front. That tree will remain and will be know as the "Ike tree" from now on...rest easy Mr Ikard-thank you for being good to my family and Jon's...I'm sorry I missed giving you your Christmas goodies this year. Julie Wehunt
