Obituary For Timothy Harvey
Mr. Timothy Daryl Harvey, 62, of Rochester, New York transitioned on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Novant Health in Huntersville, North Carolina. He was born in Rochester on April 2, 1963 to the late Clinton Harvey, Sr. and Elizabeth Williams Harvey.
He graduated from Canisius University in Buffalo, New York with a Degree in Communications. He was self-employed as a painter.
Services will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Metropolitan Funeral Chapels, Inc. in Rochester, New York. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial is private.

Timothy Harvey "Harv" impacted many people through his wisdom, his patience, his kindness and empathy for others! He was a beautiful human being and will be missed by many! I will miss him deeply! Harv and I met years ago through basketball in HS and we played together at Canisius. We stayed in touch on and off over the years and then we reconnected 3 years ago. Harv and I worked together and had a lot of fun!! What really mattered to the both of us were the conversations we had about life, death and what really matters in life!! He taught me much and I am grateful for that but what I am the most grateful for is the relationship we had developed and cultivated over the years!! This is what he took with him and it is what I and all of us will take with us! The reclamation of the primary and meaningful relationships we have had with others in our lifetimes!! I remember Tim from his playing days with the Canisius College Mens basketball team. Tim was attending a Canisius game last year and I got to speak with him. Great guy and may he rest in peace.
