Mr. William James Thomas “Jake” Morrison, Jr., 93, of Lincolnton, North Carolina transitioned on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at his residence.
He was born in Lincoln County, North Carolina on July 9, 1931 to the late William A. Morrison and Jennie Sifford Morrison.
Jake was a member of Poplar Springs A.M.E. Zion Church. He graduated from Newbold High School, he was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Poplar Springs A.M.E. Zion Church at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
A public walkthrough will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 at the funeral home from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.
Burial will follow on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at The Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, North Carolina.

Jake was a good father in law to me when I was marry to his daughter,he smoke a pipe and cigars and he taught me I'll always remember him!
