Walker Family,
My name is Falando Jenkins, and I'm a proud graduate of the Class of 1998 from Booker T. Washington Magnet High School. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for Mr. Walker. I had the privilege of being one of the first students in his Mass Media class when it began in 1996.
That class was truly ahead of its time. Mr. Walker opened our eyes to the power of media, communication, and creative expression. He didn't just teach us about cameras and editing he taught us how to find our voice and tell our stories with purpose and confidence.
His passion, guidance, and encouragement made a lasting impact on my life, and I know I'm not alone in saying that. Mr. Walker's legacy lives on in the many students he inspired at Booker T., and I will always be grateful for the lessons he taught me.
With heartfelt thanks, Falando Jenkins Class of 1998
