My heart my thoughts and my prayers are with you. Today's text reminds us to remember the ones taking the lead. Brother Burton was one of those ones. He packed us in a minivan and drove all the nooks and crannies of Magnolia Shores, Helicon, Grady, Spragues, Ada, Sellers and Sand town, and all the little place people didn't even know existed to preach the word and search out Jehovah's sheep. One day was especially hot and after we finished our formal witnessing, he took off his prosthetic and took us to the store in Highland Home. That sleeve was flapping in the wind! But he got us snacks and STILL found someone to witness too! I don't forget and neither does our loving God. Now he rests in Jehovah's memory and at the appointed time Our God will call him back in perfect health. Job 14:13 - 15. In the meantime He will remain close and strengthen those of us crushed broken hearted. Psalms 34:17-19. I love you all.

My condolences to Louis Jr family. Allow your faith and knowledge of Jehovah God and His purpose along with the sweet, funny memories with Louis. We were classmates through junior and senior high school. GWCH Class of 1965. Louis was a math genius, with a quiet sense of humor and gentlemanly.

I was trying to think just how long we have known each other, I came up with probably forty years or more, wonderful years. I remember the Burton family joining a group of us, yes we were packed tight in my home, and eating food that everyone brought and playing games. One such game was called, "This Is the Book". Kari reminded me how much fun that game was. In 1990, my Dear Mother passed away, Brother Louise came to the house and brought the largest KFC family meal they could get, with all the trimmings, even dessert, for a family of five or more. Yes, Time has certainly taken it's toll, and along with the Burton Family, I long for the day that God's Word the Bible says "No Resident will say:" 'I Am Sick'"
