I will always remember Mrs. Dot for her loving heart and welcoming spirit. She always made sure that her grandson had what he needed growing up. She never hung up the phone with you without saying she loved you and she meant it. Definitely a loss for this world, but Heaven's gain. Rest in peace, until we meet again.

I want to send my condolences to Weldon and The Thompson Family. My memories of Dot was that she was a very sweet, caring and kind woman. She displayed compassion to all those who were blessed to know her. Dot will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend and a devoted follower of our Lord. She always greeted you with a big smile, despite the trials and tribulations that she was facing in life. Dot marched on with the strength the Lord had instilled in her soul and stayed in the fight until God decided to bring her home for a job well done. She will be missed by her family and friends, but know this, she is in paradise and all will be reunited one day. Dot, we love you and will keep you in our hearts. Love from Vianca Diaz of Jacksonville, Florida
