When I think of Kay, I am reminded of summer evenings spent at her parents' home in the Philadelphia community. I remember getting so tickled at the way she would regale us with stories from their childhood growing up at our grandmother Lillie's home. Kaywas a fun-loving, tell-it-like-it-is kinda person, and you always knew where you stood with her. Kay will be sorely missed down here. My prayers and condolences go out to her children (Duncan, Chris, Dyshena, Terry, & Levi), her remaining siblings (Vickie & Michael), & grandchildren. I love you all.

I'll miss our calls from time to time. You and I had went on a trip to Raleigh NC to Wake Medical to pick up the young lady as a new born baby you raised her for yrs until she went to live with her Father. I always asked about her when we talked. I'll never forget that trip to pick up the baby. We had laughs and talks that I am going to miss so much. To my cousin Kay Rest in Paradise till we meet again.

To Ms. Kay's family. She was a light in dark in a dark room. She could lift you up when you were feeling low just by listening and saying I know it's all gonna be ok. She reminded so much of my mom. I met her a few months after my mom passed away and I grew to Love her over the 4 years we worked together in the DC. I begged her retire but she couldn't let go of her work family. Rest assured we all loved her as much she loved us. We are gonna miss you. Go rest high in my my sweet friend. I'm gonna miss you. Condolences to her family from me and my family.
