My deepest condolences to the family! 🌹❤️ Billy was a funny uncle and he loved tricks! I remember when I was about 13 and he asked if I was ready for dinner. And I said of course, with big smile on my face! But I noticed how quiet it got as he was fixing my plate, Sue and Mark were usually quiet and Tracy had a big smile on her face. Well it didn't really bother me none because I was able to eat some steak and potatoes (so I thought) Mark started to do his little thing he taught Tracy and I, with his fingers and my eyes were still on that steak! So finally uncle Billy brings me my plate I blessed it and took a bite 🥴 I'm saying what is this I hear big laughter even from Grandma and pops! Billy with the mischievous look says so how you like the deer! 😂😆😂😆😂 I had just told him I would never eat deer. But noooo he had other plans. He will truly be missed 🫶🏿 I have had great memories and time with you all! ❤️ God bless each one of you 🫶🏿
Tracy & family we are sorry for the loss of your uncle, praying memories of him will heal and comfort. Dannie & Deloris Simmons, South Hill, VA.
I attended school with Billy from grades 6-12 at Woodley Knoll ES, Suitland Jr. High, and Suitland Sr. High. We played baseball together and he was always a very good friend. I would decades later teach math to his wonderful niece, Tracy

Billy was one of a kind. He was one of the hardest people I met, but also one of the kindest, empathetic, and caring person I have ever met. He would laugh at you if you fell, call you a dummy, because you're a punk, but be there to help you up.I loved the way he always looked out for kids, especially his nieces, and nephews, who I know will miss him, along with the rest of the family, my deepest condolences go out to all of you. I'm glad that I had a chance to know him, and call him family.
