Obituary For Mary Lee Ned Harmon

CROWLEY- Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Northside Assembly of God in Crowley, LA for Mrs. Mary Lee Ned Harmon, 79, who eternal rest on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in South Crowley cemetery.

Rev. Christopher Arvie, Pastor of St. Mark Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA, will be officiating the funeral services.

Cherishing Mrs. Harmon’s memories are: her husband, Avery Joseph Harmon, Jr. of Crowley, LA; three sons, Kenneth Wayne Harmon, Sr. (Myra) of Welch, LA, Steven Wayne Harmon, Sr. (Jackie) of Rayne, LA and Cecil Wayne Harmon, Sr. of Milton, LA; six daughters, Judy Harmon, Mary Richard (Terry), Lois Martin and Peggy Harmon (Dwayne), all of Crowley, LA, Ramona Harmon of Lafayette, LA and Amy Batiste of Rayne, LA; one brother, Tony Ned, Sr. of Houston, TX; one sister, Audry Mae Ned Vernell of Houston, TX; 26 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, Clifton and Elizabeth Ned, Sr.; one daughter, Paula Harmon; four brothers, Adley, Jeffery, Clifton, Jr. and Carlton Ned; two sisters, Rose Anna Ned and Marjorie Ned Knighton; and three grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Harmon, Jr., Bria Marley Martin and Queyaishious Harmon.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. at Northside Assembly of God.
