Albert Anthony Linton, age 62, passed away at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, June 8, 2023.
Born in Barbados, West Indies to Irvine Linton and Lucille Linton (nee Streek) on November 5, 1960. He was the second of four children.
Albert spent many of his childhood to young teen years as a member of the Barbados Boy Scouts Association. Hazelwood was definitely a second home and many fond memories were retold throughout the years.
As a teenager he did many jobs, including playing in a steel band for visitors of Sam Lordβs Castle.
The family emigrated to the United States in 1977. He graduated from Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, New York. He worked a variety of jobs, most notably for Shandell Blitz, a law firm, as a paralegal.
He was an independent Process Server and a Notary Public for many years.
He was a member of the Sons of St. George Organization and served as a Master.
Albert moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2005. He had a wide social network. He played cricket with the Metropolitan Club, the Conrad Hunte Community and Cricket Club Atlanta, Inc and was active in the Georgia Supreme Cricket League.
Albert was married twice, but both marriages ended due to spousal death and permanent separation.
He is survived by his mother, Lucille Linton-Grannum; his siblings Lucina, Lorraine and Patrick Linton; his niece, Amanda; his nephews Patrick Daniel, Jason, Brandon and James; his great-niece Josephine and his great-nephew Simon.

My condolence to the Linton family, may Albert RIEP.
Albert was an amazing friend and co-worker always supportive and caring. Sleep in peace my friends.
Uncle Albert proved to be a gentle, supportive, loving, understanding and nurturing man during the time I got to live with him. He left a permanent stamp of love on my heart. During a dark time in my life he was a much needed light! May God rest his soul and bring comfort and peace to the entire family.
Mr. Linton was a good friend. I admired his objective perspective on life. I could call him and ask him anything. He would come and teach me how to make our national dish. He taught me how to use the power washer for my house, and if I had questions about Bdos politics, he would advise me. He loved Bdos. He love to help people. I miss my friend. May the Lord keep you in his arms. I offer condolences to all who knew him. May he rest in heaven. πππ
