Mrs. Brenda Heard Cooper Welch passed March 7, 2009. Celebration of life will be held Friday, March 13, 2009 11:00 a.m. at Breakthrough Christian Center Church, 3078 Benjamin E. Mays. Rev. Curtis Phelps, Jr., Pastor. Rev. Michael Biggers, officiating, Pastor Beverly Heard, Eulogist. Interment, Kennedy Memorial Gardens. Remains in state at 9:00 a.m. Survived by husband, Arthur Welch; 3 children, Catrice (Marcus) Cooper Brown, Chiquita (Dexter) Cooper Burks, Arthur Welch, Jr.;7 brothers, 6 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
