Condolences to the family. I stated before that Mrs. Catherine was a cornerstone at Pilgrim Baptist Church and the West End community. She always met everyone with a smile and a soft voice. She was humble and kind. She served until she could serve no more, then God called her home. Rest Mrs. Catherine. You will never be forgotten. Carlissa R. Brooks-Ashley
Mrs Catherine Was Such A Sweet Woman She Use To Babysit Me When I Was Little Best Babysitter I Ever Had Gonna Be Praying For The Family From Shelena Williams
Mrs. Catherine will certainly be missed by all that knew her. I occasionally visited Mrs. Catherine with my best friend Rita when Rita was in Martinsville and we always enjoyed our visit with her and I grew very fond of her. She was always so receptive and glad to see us. My last visit with her will always fondly be remembered because we shared stories and pictures and I will always cherish those moments. I'm certainly going to miss her. Family you had a beautiful mother inside and out and you should be very proud that she was such a great friend to all. Rest In Peace Mrs. Catherine. Your friend, Emma Holland

We took piano lessons together when we were young, she was an excellent student i wasn't . I will truly miss her and i pray for the family. May you be comforted in the knowledge that Catherine is home with the Lord happy as can be.
I was so sorry to hear about Ms. Catherine. My family lived across the street from her and she was such a wonderful neighbor and friend. We thought so much of her wisdom and advice. My condolences to her family.
