Take your rest Papa Pitts. We love you. Well done.
One of the best pastors I've ever had! He truly tended to his flock as a good shepherd should. He had a big heart and truly cared for and genuinely loved his members. Anytime I was sick or in any accidents he was there to lay hands and pray for healing. Pastor Pitts was a walking Bible!! No one I know can quote scriptures like him. He will truly be missed. He loved to hear me sing "Praise is What I Do!" We love you Pastor. Servant Well Done
My name is Robert Lee Pitts Jr. I had the pleasure of being his musician at mt.Olive Baptist church, in sparks, Georgia during his entire pastoral ship. There we had agood time in CHRIST. I can tell you that many SUNDAY sermons, he left me in awe! My uncle could really bring the word. Which it was probably quite easy for him to do because he knew the word. The bible tells us to study to show ourselves approved. He ran a tight ship. It helped me so much. I would often hear him refer to me as his FAVORITE NEPHEW. WELL, HE'S THE LAST OF MY DADDY'S BROTHERS TO BE CALLED UP TO LIVE WITH THE LORD. UNCLE MARVIN, MAY YOU REST IN PEACE,NOW THAT YOUR SPIRIT IS IN THE HANDS OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD
