I would like to extend my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Forson and his family. Forson has been a dear classmate of mine, and his mother was always so warm, kind, and gracious to both my family and me. Mrs. Evans had a beautiful gift for lifting others up. She made you feel valued and proud of who you are, even in moments when others might try to bring you down. She was truly an exceptional teacher and an inspiring presence in the lives of so many. Her kindness and spirit will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Our deepest condolences to the Brooks and Evans Family. Priscilla Strickland
To Forson and the entire family of Mrs. Earnestine Brooks Evans:
"It breaks my heart not to be able to be with you as you honor and celebrate the life of one of the most genuine, compassionate, generous, selfless, God-fearing human beings I've ever known.
Not only was she one of my dearest friends, but she was also the vice-president and counselor of 'Nigel Andrews Ministries', and the lead chairperson of the board of directors of my non-profit organization, 'Christmas-Year-'Round'.
The spiritual/educational advice, late-night conversations, mentorship, contributions, and support of my music, ministry, and daily endeavors has been one of the few constants in my life over the past 30 years. I am forever grateful for the life of Mrs. Earnestine Brooks Evans."
May His Peace Be With You Until We Meet Again,
Nigel Andrews
Dear Forson and family, She was Earnestine to me and we team-taught at Auburn High School around 1977-1978 for two years. She was a force of nature. We were so young and had beautiful young children! I visited in your home. I today deeply thought of her and looked her up to find this. What a loss. I am so very sorry and send my best wishes for comfort at this time. Sheryl (Hall) Davis
