Obituary For Albert "Porkie" Burroughs, Sr.
Mr. Albert "Porkie" Burroughs, Sr., 88, was born on Saturday, August 5, 1933 and departed this life Thursday, September 16, 2021.
Funeral service will be held at Mt Calvary United Church of Christ on Athens Ave. Durham, NC on Saturday, September 25, 2021, Visitation from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, funeral starts at 12:00 pm. Burial will be Monday, September 27, 2021, 10:00 am at Sandhills Cemetery.
Masks are to be worn and social distancing required at all meetings with family, friends and services.
All acts of kindness are appreciated during this difficult time, but we ask that you contact the family before sending flowers.
Flowers will not be accepted on behalf of the family at Holloway Memorial Funeral Home.
