Lord knows I will need His strength for this shocking news. Alton was definitely a genuine friend; a heart of Godly actions! He was a warm, positive presence in all lives that he touched. I will miss the phone calls and text messages tremendously. Never can I recall a time that Alton wasn't available when I needed his help! I am so saddened to think that I will no longer receive those phone calls and text messages. However, I am overly joyed to know how he lived his life and how he loved and served God! That was his passion! My deepest and sincerest condolences are extended to his family, friends and co workers. Until we meet again best friend! I love you!

Bro. Alton's infectious smile and love will remain in our hearts and memories. We enjoyed listening to his baritone voice ushering in the spirit. We also enjoyed being greeted by him as we frequented American Airlines on our travels. He was always professional and kind each time he interacted with us. We will miss him at SJC, but know that he left a lasting and loving impression on each of us. We will continue to keep his parents, siblings, other family, friends, co-workers in our prayers. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Well done Bro. Alton. You are and will be greatly missed. RIP!
