Obituary For Annie Louise Hamilton Daye

Mrs. Annie Hamilton Daye - lead a rich life of devotion to God. She was a career employee of the Internal Revenue Service where she devoted 28 year of faithful, dedicated and honorable experience. She attended the Law School of North Carolina Central University and was an undergraduate magna cum laude, and was a member of White Rock Baptist Church of Durham.

She is preceded in passing by her late husband John Tyler Daye, daughter Nancy Louise Daye, and son John Anthony Daye. She is survived by her son Jeffrey Tyrrence Daye, daughters Virginia Daye Borders, Katie Daye Monroe, sister Shirley Cox and a host of grand-children, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Daye was a pillar of the community with her selfless acts of community involvement and charitable contributions. Her presence will be missed as she traverses to the Father's Heavenly Kingdom. Your prayers are solicited from the family.

Graveside service will be held at Beechwood Cemetery, 3300 Fayetteville St., Durham, NC on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm.

Masks are to be worn and social distancing required at all meetings, visits and services. All acts of kindness are appreciated during this difficult time.

Flowers will not be accepted on behalf of the family at Holloway Memorial Funeral Home. The family will advise you where to send flowers.
