Mr. Calbert 'Pop' Thaddeus Carlton passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017, at the Veteran's Administration Hospital, Durham, NC. The family will have visitation on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 11 am to 12 noon at Northeast Baptist Church , 3204 Highway 55, Durham, NC. The funeral will take place at 12:00, immediately following visitation. Mr. Carlton is survived by his wife Willa D. Carlton of Durham, NC, sons Daryl (Marcie) Carlton of Durham, NC and Rick (Josh) Carlton of Chapel Hill, NC and Gary Carlton of Grapevine, Texas. Stepdaughter, Dr. Tonya Armstrong (Corwin) of Durham, NC and stepson Michael Farmer of Miami, Fl. Four granddaughters, two step grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

To The Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked part time for Mr. Carlton in the 70s & 80s. He was a caring and considerate boss. He always had jokes and a great sense of humor. I have a lot of great memories of him because he continued to be a good friend. I am praying for your strength.
