Carolyn Jean Clemmons (73) gained her wings on July 15, 2024.
She was born on October 29, 1950 in Philadelphia Pa, daughter of the late Kernolia Clemmons.
Carolyn was raised, educated, and lived in Durham, NC until her heavenly father called her home to be with him. She was VP Secretary for various corporate companies where she displayed her knowledge in the Business Administration Field.
She Loved the Lord and was a God-Fearing woman, with a humble soul. A true prayer warrior. The friendly and good spirit she had led her to always be a helping hand to others. She loved life and enjoyed every minute of it by traveling, meeting new people, and watching sports, especially her Dallas Cowboys and UNC Tarheels. Carolyn always kept a warm and comforting smile on face and made you feel good while in her presence. Her family meant everything to her, and she made sure everyone knew it.
She was preceded in death by her mother Kernolia Clemmons, two brothers Lonnie Clemmons and Mason Clemmons, and one grandson.
Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her brother Leon Clemmons and sister Delores Clemmons-White. Three sons Terry Clemmons(Elizabeth),Calvin Clemmons, (Gregory Clemmons(Julia). 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Service: Friday, July 26, 2024 | Visitation service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm | Funeral service starts at 2:00 pm.

There will be No Burial or Grave Site.

To the Clemmons family; my sincere condolences. Carolyn loved her family, her children, her grandchildren and her great grands. Julia she loved you because you were the daughter she never had. I worked with Carolyn for years and she became one of my best friends. She was kind and had such a sweet spirit about her. We lost contact, but I was finally able to locate her with the help of another friend. I am truly sorry for your loss. Carolyn and I had some really good times together in the 70s. She was actually my protector because I was the innocent one.
