Love you all, Maxine and Norman Glenn
Sincere condolences to Beadie and the entire family; also in honor and memory of my late sister, Elsie, referred to as Ms. Elsie by Darlene and your children. Lewis, Dan and Scottie grew up with them on Red Mountain Rd; and ofcourse DeMario in the famous E.Club Blvd. community. Darlene had a sweet spirit in caring and concern for others. I enjoyed the visit to your home this past Monday. Praying for you all during this difficult time and the days ahead. RIP, Shirley-Turrentine-Cole
One of my first memories of Cynt. affectionately called (Cletus) was at change of shift, I was leaving Pettigew and she was coming on the 11-7 shift. I'm the new nurse on the block and Cynt. took out the proverbial white glove to inspect the medication cart. I want you to know I diagnosed her myself THAT NIGHT as having OCD. That medication cart didn't stand a chance as she wiped it down with bleach and when she gave me the side eye I thought I would be next. That girl loved bleach, if you weren't careful your uniform might be bleached if you were near the nursing station after she received report and starting wiping down everything. When I knew Cynt. was coming in I made sure to wipe things down so she could smell the bleach, and I could pass inspection. To this date I have a thing about a clean med cart. Thank you Cynt. for teaching me well. Cynt. has such an impact on my approach to nursing, she left a lasting impression on me and many others with her dedication and attention to detail. We went on to be the best of friends for 30 years working together in different facilities. 30 years of joy and laughter, Thank you Cletus. Vickey Mason-Burgess
