Gregory DeVon Hatcher (G.Devon)was a remarkable friend, a thoughtful listener, and a light for those navigating hard days. Our friendship began on TikTok, but it quickly grew into something deeper — a true, unconditional connection. Gregory had a way of seeing people clearly, without judgment. He heard the parts of me I sometimes could not name and always offered encouragement, clarity, and laughter. He had an uncanny ability to make sense of my chaos and to ground me when I needed it most. Our conversations ranged from the small and silly to the sacred — and he valued every single one. He left behind voice recordings that I will replay for the rest of my life; each one carries his warmth, his wisdom, and his voice that made everything feel a little easier. Gregory's kindness was simple and real: an encouraging word at the right moment, a patient ear, a steady presence. He reminded people that they were seen, heard, and loved. While words feel too small now, his memory will remain alive in stories, in tears and laughter, and in the many lives he touched. Rest well, Gregory. I have been struggling to find the right words to write for my heartfelt tribute! First, I would like to extend a heartfelt and sincere condolences to Greg's parents, sister, niece, nephews and his beloved family and friends! I had the honor to spend 3 years of my life with Greg. We shared a lot of great and loving memories. He always made me feel special like a bouquet of roses and I would be the one he would choose. He uplifted me, prayed for and over me and always made sure I knew that his love was loud and genuine. I met a lot of his dear family and friends and they were warming and welcoming as if they knew me for a long time. When my baby sister passed,Greg and his family were there for us until the end.
