Helen Ford was a courageous woman of immense strength, wisdom with a generous heart of gold. Born on Friday, November 16, 1928 and concluding her journey with us with unwavering faith and grace on January 6th, 2025 at Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Although she valiantly battled cancer and or health challenges, she never lost her wit and beautiful spirit. She owned the room with her intelligence and joy.
Helen is survived by her loving family all of whom she would give everything and all things, but most importantly her love, loyalty and honesty.
Helen touched many while working as a dietary specialist at Watts Hospital and attending school at Hillside High School. Along the way she develop many long lasting friendships and never met a stranger. To know her is to love her. We now take her legacy of love strength wisdom, honesty and joy to shine her light on others in loving memory.
