Mr. James Wilkerson, 73, was born on Thursday, April 22, 1948 and departed this life on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.
Visitation and Funeral services will be held at Holloway Memorial Funeral Home, 2502 NC Highway 55, Durham, NC on Saturday, April 16, 2022, visitation with friends from 9:30 to 10:30 AM and funeral service at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Glennview Cemetery.
Masks are to be worn and social distancing required at all meetings with family and friends.

James was a gentle giant with a big heart. He showed me and my family a lot of love and care when we traveled to NYC. He will be missed. I know his children will miss him but he is now in the loving arms of our Savior and with his loving wife, Barbara Ann. To the children, my prayers are with you. I know your dad love his girls, Liz, Fannie, and grandchildren. Hold on to God's hands during this difficult time cause we know that the Lord do not make any mistakes. Love you all dearly,
