Little Jesse, I miss you wait before now. We were the last ones on Scout Drive from the old neighborhood. I know my brother Louis is gonna miss you.. so to the Meadows Family y'all have our deepest sympathy. Legacy for lil Jesse will always be remembered in the Southside neighborhood. The Hunter Family
My condolences to the Meadows family. Mrs. Jessie was like another father to my nephew Fletcher, Ray Barbee Junior, a.k.a. Pookie. He talked about Mr. Jessie all the time and if I needed to find him, he was always over there helping Mr. Jessie with something or sitting on the front porch just chewing the fat. He will be missing and it sure hit him hard cause he was a pillar to the community on the Southside and my nephew frequent and he stayed on the southside of quite a bit of his life while in Durham so we are praying for the family that God give you the strength to endure and may he a rest in peace. I had a pleasure meeting him very sweet nature and spirit. take care rest, Mr. Jessie. ππ½
The Bottom Southside Reunion wants to send our condolences to the Meadow's family at this difficult time in passing of your dear brother Jesse Meadows Jr
The Meadows have been family friends of ours family for over 30 years. We were all connected on the South Side. Enterprise Street, piedmont Ave, South Street, and the surrounding streets were our neighborhood. Mr Jesse was always a quiet man but he stood ten toes down for his family. He was the center of it all through heartache and pain, he withstood it all! God bless the family through this time and Mr Jesse please give Dinky all my love when you see him. I never forgot him.
The Fleming Family give our sincere condolences to the Meadows Family. The friendship and neighborly love and respect from childhood to now will never be forgotten and always cherish from my Brother Little Jesse and his entire Family. Joseph Fleming & Family
