I love you Lamont. I am so grateful to have had the experience of knowing you. You were always there for me, and I will never forget that. You were such a beautiful soul. RIP
I offer my sincere condolences and prayers in your time of bereavement and need. As you go through this heartache, I want you to remember the poem, "Footprints in the Sand." Remember these are the times that God is carrying in his open and loving arms. We might not understand his divine plan, but he will never leave us in our times of need. Lamont will never be forgotten and his memory will live on through all of us that had the honor to know him.

The First time we met you jumped in my car and we didn't know each other at all I didn't even know your name. I asked where the hell do you think you're going and you simply said "with y'all". Any time I drove through NC you were my first stop breakfast lunch and dinner no questions asked I appreciated you being a friendly face a real brother and a person of exceptional character. I'm going to truly miss you. I love you rest easy OLE Rodney B
It was awesome working with you man. I remember when I first moved to this department I was feeling out of place. Naturally I would still eat lunch with my old department. Everyone else would tell me to pick a side but You'd say keep doing it and that I'd be your covert spy on said department. You seem to have a way of lightening the mood in any situation. You had a big heart and huge character. And we will miss you man.
Lamont was a complete joy to be around, he could make you smile on your worst day. I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to be friends and coworkers with such a wonderful person. We are going to miss him so much.
My condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. Laura S.
My dearest Lamont, It was truly an honor to work with you. I'm going to miss leaning over your desk and chatting with you. Whether it was about your car collection or how tired we both were lol. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten. RIH my dear friend. Betty Lattimore
Sending condolences to Jermaine and Monica from Lisa and Makayla. Hold on to GOD's unchanging hand and know that we love you.
To my sweet Lamont, we loved you, but GOD loved you first. I'm going to miss you trying to sneak past my desk with bags of food from the restaurant because you knew i was going to fuss at you about your food choices....lol. I'm going to also miss you showing me pictures of your nephew. To your family, thank you for sharing your gift Lamont) with us. He will truly be missed. Samara (his work family)
I didn't talk to you at first, but you insisted so I gave in and I'm so thankful that I did. You are an amazing person. You were more than a co-worker to me; you were my friend. I will forever miss your laugh and that smile you gave me every time you saw me walk into the office. I will never forget you Lamont.
You had me running across campus to get to probate after class, sitting passengers side while you were doing donuts in the middle of a snow storms, traveling to god knows where for a car show, dragging me to every random event that you heard about, and had me traveling to small town in Pennsylvania where you worked. You always showed up when I needed you and I tried my hardest to do the same. You were always my protector, my wingman, and my motivator. Living without you sucks but I'll find a way to make the promises we made still come to life.
Lamont was always there if I needed him... Sometimes that could of just been I needed to get away from a classroom, other times it was just to hang out. A great friend and a great brother that always had a story to tell and was always down for a random adventure. I'll never forget you dawg...

Lamont's Family and friends, please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. Lamont and I worked together at Avantor. When Lamont was hired at Avantor, it did not take him too long to get familiar with our processes. He immediately stepped up to help us in so many ways. One of my favorite memories of Lamont was our first ISO audit together. We were both new to Avantor and the procedures, Lamont worded very hard to be prepared for the audit, and he was very well prepared. We received a perfect audit score, no findings! Lamont was very proud of that result, and he made sure that every subsequent audit we repeated and three-peated with a perfect score! Our audits were in July and Lamont told me that it would be nice if we could move the audit out of July so he could celebrate his birthday. This past year we were able to do that, and he was, as always very grateful when we did something for him. Lamont always thought of others first and that showed in his work, his friendships and I absolutely know that he thought of his family always first. As a friend, I will miss him dearly, as a colleague, Avantor is a much better company because of his hard work. The world is a much better place because of his kind heart, and we will miss not having him around. I am certain that his kind heart was needed elsewhere. God speed Lamont. Jim P.
