My deepest condolences to the family of Mrs. Sharpe Dean. We worked together for many years at Southwest elementary school. Mrs. Dean was not only a supportive coworker but I considered her my friend. When I was new at Southwest she took me under her wing. She was a walking encyclopedia in the area of child care law as it pertained to special education. We would share stories about our beloved nieces and nephews. When she spoke of her niece and nephew her entire face lit up. Ms. Sharpe Dean was instrumental in starting the Southwest prayer circle. . Rest in Peace Ms. Dean. You will always have a place in my heart.
I was so saddened to hear of Mrs. Dean's passing. We worked together at Southwest Elementary School serving special needs students. She was always such a pleasant and patient teacher with her students offering kind words and encouragement to all. We have lost a kind and caring professional and such a beautiful soul! Condolences to the family. Anita Burnette

To the family of Mrs. Dean, I am saddened at the loss of Mrs. Dean. We worked together and shared a lot of happy memories. Mrs. Dean asked me to mentor her. In reality God allowed us both to mentor each other. She always smiled and was willing to help others. I will say thank you to her family for all the kindness she showed me at Southwest. I will continue to pray for you all. I ask God to dry your tears and to bring healing for all of you. I will always be grateful for the kindness and support Mrs Dean gave me at Southwest. We always worked late on Friday nights. We would leave the building together. She was a wonderful blessing to have as a sister in Christ.
May God continue to bless the family during this time of bereavement! I would always reach out to her on her birthday for she was the beginning of our zodiac sign and mine the end. "Poochie" always had a beautiful smile and blessed all she came in contact. May she rest in eternal piece. Stay strong family!!
LaShima was always a sweet loving young lady. Whenever you saw her she had a smile so bright that it would warm up your heart. She had a special gift with the kids and parents that she came in contact with both in and out of the classroom. I still can't believe that she's gone. I pray love, comfort, hugs, healing and closure not only for the families but her friends and coworkers. May she rest in the Master's Hands. We love you Shima
